Introduction to Water!

Activities:

• Warm up: Name one process in the water cycle - make sure you identify what the water starts off as (clouds, vapor, river, ocean, rain, etc), followed by what it ends up as.
• Essential question response (students answer the following question on pg. 72): What can I do to help keep our water supply clean?
• Read Water Detectives (periods 2-4)
• Water Surveys (periods 2-4)
• Water cycle review
• Homework: Bring in a picture of your favorite natural area that has something to do with water - can be a family photo or taken from the internet. Start water survey at home this evening (due Mon), Bring in permission slips and $4!
