• Warm up: Which scenario would be the best analogy for a solid? A: Many fall leaves, blowing in the breeze, free and flowing. B: A carton full of eggs. C: 1 or 2 fish darting in the wide, open ocean.
  
• Work on States of matter project (students will have 30 minutes in class today, and then the weekend to polish a 2-3 minute presentation with their group)
  

• HOMEWORK: Element Practice, lab contract signed Due Friday; Presentations due Monday

Students should be starting experiments for the science fair by now; the first log book check is October 22, 2010.
