40 Days of Sustainability Extra Credit

UF is hosting 2 months of events to help celebrate sustainability and Earth Day!

You can earn up to 50 points Extra Credit total. Here's how:

Step 1: Check out the calendar of events here: http://www.sustainability.ufl.edu/40days/

Step 2: Choose 5 different events before March 30th. To get points, each event must be of a different kind (You get 10 points for each activity you attend). There are the following categories:

1. Movies

2. Festivals/Celebration Events

3. Demonstrations or Displays

4. Classes

5. Sports Events/Volunteer Activities/Charity Drives

Step 3: For each event you attend, take a picture or collect one pamphlet as proof of attendance, and then answer the following questions:

1. Name of the Event _______________________

2. Date and Time__________________________

3. What was the goal of this event?

4. What did you learn about sustainability or "going green" from this event?

5. What is your opinion of the event?

Step 4: Put your proof of attendance and answers to questions in your above and beyond section. It will be graded at the next notebook check at the end of March.
