The media is buzzing about research into alternative fuels, but what are we truly doing to slow global warming? Learn about the latest work in climate change from UF Ecology professor Steve Mulkey.

For Extra Credit:
1. Either meet me there or provide some proof of attendance (pictures, brochure, etc)

Museum Nights: Can You Dig It?
Close the Day...Open your Mind. The Florida Museum of Natural History is open late on these special Thursday nights! Co-sponsored by the University of Florida Student Government.Discover the power and beauty of the Earth through hands-on activities like "Oreo tectonics" and geologist-led demonstrations of volcanic eruptions and other phenomena. From gem-cutting to "magic" rocks, discover the wonders of our planet in this fun-filled evening of learning and adventure with the UF Geology Department and Gainesville Gem and Mineral Society at the Florida Museum of Natural History.

For Extra Credit:
1. I will NOT be able to attend this (I'm so mad!!), so you MUST provide evidence of attendance (pictures, brochures, parent letters, etc).
